Since January 2022, trainings on the national hotel star classification have been launched in the regions.
Azerbaijan Hotel Association (AHA) provides detailed information on the process and criteria for classification of hotels in the various regions of the Azerbaijan.
On the 19th of January and on the 2nd of February trainings took place in Lankaran and Guba respectively.
Another online training took place on the 15th of March and all the regional hotels were invited to attend the meeting.
It should be noted that the new Law On Tourism is already signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the Law, each hotel operating on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan should receive their star classification certificate within six months from the date of starting their operations.
