HOTREC President Mr. Jens Zimmer Christensen visited Azerbaijan

HOTREC President Mr. Jens Zimmer Christensen and former Vice-President and consultant to AHA Dr. Akos Niklai visited Azerbaijan from 2-7th September. From exploring Baku’s old streets to a fantastic trip to the regions of Azerbaijan, Mr. Christensen had the chance to uncover the beauty of Azerbaijani culture, try the tasty national cuisine, and experience the local hospitality. He was the opening keynote speaker at the Intour Summit where he enthusiastically highlighted the positive change that AHA will bring to the hospitality industry of Azerbaijan. On 4th September Mr. Christensen and Dr. Akos Niklai had official meetings with the STA and ATB management, the Ministry of Ecology and the chairman of AFSA to discuss the current situation of the hospitality industry and its impact on the destination, sharing the best practices of European hospitality.
