AHA participated at ITB Berlin exhibition

Azerbaijan Hotel Association (AHA) participated at ITB Berlin from March 7th to 9th together with State Tourism Agency, Azerbaijan Tourism Board, and 14 industry partners. Our Chairman Mr. Eldar Alimuradov represented AHA at the exhibition.

On the 7th of March, as a destination launch partner of World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) “Hotel Sustainability Basics” project, Azerbaijan hosted the Launch Celebration at the destination’s National Stand. The event was attended by the WTTC President and CEO Julia Simpson along with other industry representatives. The project aims to address hotels and help them reduce their environmental impact, serving as a coordinated set of basic actions which aim to assist hotels in stepping on their sustainable journey. AHA together with ATB committed to spreading awareness of this important initiative among the hotels in Azerbaijan.
