On 8th August, Azerbaijan Cabinet of Ministers released new a decree on hotels' operation during coronavirus pandemic.New Decree is focusing on safety and security of guests visiting hotels as well as hotel staff. The decree especially highlights the monitoring to be done by the STA Officials.
On 12th August,first test-monitoring has been implemented at Hilton Baku. State Tourism Agency Representatives held discussion with hotel management to identify challenges and opportunities in regards to the decree and its implementation. Key aspects were determined by both parties and relevant actions will have a place.
Monitoring by State Tourism Agency will commence by the end of August in Baku and Regions
