On February 9, the first meeting of the AHA Destination Sales and Marketing working group took place.
The action plan of the working group for 2024 was discussed at the meeting with the participation of the sales and marketing department heads of the member hotels and the representatives of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board.
ATB Deputy CEO Javanshir Bayramov introduced the marketing strategies, media and digital projects, and events planned for 2024 by ATB.
It was agreed that the industry players and ATB will closely collaborate on marketing activities through AHA Working Group join forces, and align the destination marketing investments with ATB in digital and offline platforms. The importance of COP29 in terms of destination marketing has been discussed and a separate working group meeting will be created regarding the marketing scope and the allocations during the COP29.
