Azerbaijan Hotel Association partnered with Azerbaijan Tourism Board and State Tourism Agency in designation and implementation nationwide SAHMAN program and actively participated as a contributor in the development of SAHMAN training materials based on hospitality industry needs and best international practices.
On 1st and 2nd June, Azerbaijan Hotel Association conducted web information sessions for member hotels covering from significance and benefits of newly launched SAHMAN program to registration and importance of “ Macəra Yaxındadır” tourism campaign.
During the web sessions with over 150 participants from 80 member hotels, detailed information on SAHMAN program: main principles, benefits as well as registration process shared by AHA Team and guest presenters by ATB and STA. Q&A session followed by training and hoteliers had a chance to ask important question about program. Second part of web session was dedicated to “Macəra Yaxındadır” campaign and importance of this campaign as well as tips and hints on developing attractive offer had been shared.
Azerbaijan Hotel Association will be organizing webinars and info sessions upon request to hospitality industry after SAHMAN program official launch and auditors from AHA will be conducting on site monitoring of hotel and hotel-type facilities to ensure fulfillment of SAHMAN principles during operations.
